Lysaghts has of late been inundated with requests to undertake contaminated site investigations. Recent law changes require investigations for subdivisions, earthworks, land use changes and other activities on land which may have been contaminated by past practices. The requirement for an investigation is normally required at subdivision stage, however land subdivided prior to January 2012 may still require investigation at the time of building consent. Lysaghts are able to provide property purchasers advice on potential investigation requirements as well as undertaking detailed site investigations.
