To prove just how committed we are to the cause, we were NZ's first ISP to unbundle the local loop. This improved competition, forced everyone to lower their prices and widened access to faster copper broadband
We then launched a mass-market VoIP phone service - called Orcon Genius. It puts phone calls over the internet – which is a smarter, future proofed way of doing things, making the transition to fibre easy.
We were the first to launch nationwide Ultra-Fast Broadband services – getting Kiwis hooked up to fibre and speeding along on the government’s new $1.5bn network.
More recently we introduced Global Mode – a free, automatic service that gives our customers access to streaming TV websites that are normally blocked for Kiwis.
We would all like to write our own reviews, but who would believe us? That’s why we are so happy that other people also recognise that we think and act differently. Over the years we have won a stack of awards for our service, our innovation, and just for being us. |
