Keywords:NRM Horse of the Year Show is the largest equestrian event in the Southern Hemisphere hosted annually at the Hawke's Bay A&P Showgrounds in March.
NRM Horse of the Year has been held in Hawke's Bay for 15 year's, growing at a phenomenal rate with the 2014 show being the 16th year.
The show is home to 17 different Equestrian Disciplines all competing for the title of NRM Horse of the Year within their Section. Both equestrian and non-equestrian people can come and experience the excitement of the Showjumping and Eventing competitions with the beauty of the Showing and Dressage classes, the delicacy of the Miniatures with the might of the gentle giants, the Clydesdales.
Along with the different competitions we have over 200 trade sites to satisfy all of your retail therapy needs from saddlery and farm equipment to clothing and jewellery.
We have night shows on Friday and Saturday night to entertain the crowd with tough competition and action and displays very rarely seen in such a setting. A Hall of Fame Dinner to celebrate the efforts of competitors, volunteers and long standing members of the NRM Horse of the Year Show with well known international guests.
